God Damn Hiccoughs - How @%^! lame.

Post by Witch King »

I did a search, but couldnt' find anyone asking this question:

How do I remove the stupid hiccough curse that that roly-poly guy in the Civic Festhall put on me? I know all about going to Sebastian and having him teach me a new curse to use against him and all, but, the problem is, I slew the guy who cursed me immediately.

Actually, second question, the game only takes up half of my screen size in the center, I want to make it full screen, but I can't find an option in the game itself. When I go to my Display for the computer and change resolutions, it doesn't help.
Come not between the Witch King and his prey, or he will not slay thee in thy turn, but will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the lidless Eye.

I really don't know, that is bizaare, i would assume that BIS made it with a Biff like character but i never had that happen.

So changing your normal desktop display to 640x480 doesn't change whether it is full screen or not?

No, it just makes my normal applications shrink in size, while my game window remains the same.

Have you tried minimizing it with alt+escape and then right clicking on the taskbar and telling it to maximise?

If you've killed him, you're screwed. :(

I don't believe that! You can't be serious! I hiccough every four seconds, I can't keep that up. There must be a way for someone to remove the curse from me.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE HICCOUGH CURSE??!??!!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

Sleep: Thanks, I'll try that.

Laptops do this. It can't be changed.

And with Jumble dead you cannot remove the curse.

You are new to the board, and thou art a bearer of ill tidings!

Yeah, but @US, he's already the curser. That means he can't get the curse removed. He'll hiccup forever.

@WK, I'd reload your last saved game, or the autosave made before you last left/entered the Sensorium.

AH HAH

Thanks for the suggestions, thou bearers of ill news. However, for any of you who get cursed and fear you'll stay that way:

the hiccoughs go away after a few game days on their own! Thank god, I couldn't have stood it anymore

Really? I'm delighted to hear it. Sounds like considerations of gameplay got in the way of reality, then, consider what was done to poor Reekwind's entire life. ;)
