Anything buried in BG 2
BG veterans must remember the various items that where buried or hidden in locations where you wouldn't normally look. Apparently, some very thorough players examined every pixel of every map and found such items as the ring of wizardry south of the Friendly Arms Inn and a set of Ankheg armour in a farmer's field west of Nashkel.
My question is: Has anyone found items hidden in like inconspicuous spots in BG 2?

Not here, no. I remember that the biggest buried "easter egg" surprise was in one of the Ultima7 spinoffs that Origin Systems did, set on Mars. If you dug at the center of a minor, vaguely x formation (which you had to be looking for) formed by cracks in the planetary crust, you'd find a pair of ruby slippers. If you clicked on them 3 times, they gave you a win screen, followed by a succession of static images representing artwork of Kansas.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Well lets see, theres a couple random treasures (ie gem/scroll/gold) that are almost impossible to find, that (suprise) i'v found. One is in the Windspear Hills dungeon. Everyone knows about the lake that has treasure in the bottom (amul prot +1, couple gems), well north of that in one of the stalagmites there is some random treasure, very small area to click on. Also in Windspear hills in the Above ground area there are 2 or 3 nooks in the rock with random treasure, iv found a couple more, but i cant rember where they were off the top of my head.I'll post when i remember (if).

Anybody have any idea who first found ring of wizardry south of the Friendly Arms Inn and the Ankheg armour in a farmer's field west of Nashkel in BG1?
Or did Black Isle release this information?
(I still believe there is a secret stash in Irenicus's first prison...besides the Chaos Sword)

@Weasel: I think I read at Baldurdash that the infamous golden pantaloons can be found somewhere in Irenicus dungeon...

I can't think of any hidden thing, but in Spellhold prison area, you meet Tiax the mad thief that wants to take over the world and Dradeel the crazy powerful mage from the werewolf island in TotSC.
