I've been following the books(Salvatore) and have just goten to the Summoning of Errtu by cadderly, now I can guess who it is they have trapped

Yep. It's Wulfgar. Zaknafein is safely secured from all alarms somewhere in the Seven Heavens. Wulfgar, if you remember from "The Legacy," was abducted by a handmaiden of Lolth, who took him to said goddess, who later used him as a bargaining chip in exchange for Errtu's allegiance during the Time of Troubles. Too bad it's not Zaknafein, though. He's a level 24 Fighter, while Wulfgar, IIRC, hovered around the lower teens. Zak would have made a better ally, and could have taught Drizzt a thing or two.
