I have played about 6 hours so far. Graphics are very good - the world, while not as large as Daggerfall - it very well fleshed out. There seems to be an endless amount of quests and things to do. I am running two different characters - the character set up has taken up about a third of my gaming time - I am excessive compulsive when it comes to selecting and balancing skills and abilities and there are endless possibilities here.

Over the past few years I have spent most of my RPG gaming time with the infinity engine products. Morrowind is a totally different type of game and I am refreshed by the strategic, character driven approach. The pace is much slower than any Baldurs gate game - to give you an idea - I have had only two fights so far in my time with the game. Dungeons and monsters will have to wait until I level up a bit - you can get killed very easily in this game.

If you are looking for a game with an involving story and true roleplaying options I believe you will appreciate this game. It is kind of like playing a Solo game of baldurs gate - and reminds me a little bit of Thief - with better graphics and an exponentially larger world. This game represents the far extreme in pure roleplaying games. As opposed to say, Dungeon Seige, which is a mostly action RPG lite game.

I am very happy with the game so far. :)

Considering your apparent compulsiveness....could you visit my thread asking whether for my character a Khajit or a Wood Elf would be more effective? This is the only hurdle left to me having (in my opinion) the perfect theif like character.
