Curse Exploit

Post by Twinsen »

Ok, this surely has been posted before, but have you thinked of the possibilities of the phasing boots? Not only do they improve AC, they help you to reach the enemy if you have not ranged atacks and also confuses them. The real point is when you use the defensive spin ability with these boots: you will have around -23 AC and still be able to move (ok, to phase ^_^) around, so you avoid being surrounded. What do you think of this tactic????

Sorry, what are those boots you are talking about?
I've never heard of them.

Thay we're in the druid's cave... not really sure. Anyways I think they were removed from the game and the only way to get the now is cheating. Thay are cursed boots which improve your armor class by 2 and teleports you every 6 seconds to an enemy.

try another well known exploit, try casting free action on stinky, unwashed laze-about-good-for-nothing bard, and use defensive spin. he will move around, but still retain bonus. this is similar to oiluski resilent sphere, cast on yourself, with free action. you are immune to just about everything for 10 rounds or so. the curious thing is you must lower saves and magic resist to get better immunites AFTER spell.

GREAT!!

Ahhh. I can feel it!
Now, finally, I reached the Halls of Fame (only access with exalted membership or a 1000$ note for the guy at the door). :p
I know it`s spamming, but anybody would have done the same with 49 posts, right?
So, to say something to the topic:

@Twinsen: I didn't find anything you mention in the druid cave. Where do you think, they should be? Just in the druids area, or in the cave itself? Do you have to be a druid then to get them?
No offence meant by former post. Just kiddin'.

Life is short. Work less. Play more.

If its in the game, or was meant to be in the game. Then I guess you could always find it with Shadow Keeper.

Thats if your willing to cheat ;)

Interesting but does this really work? The otiluke's sphere exploit that is.
Free action cancels the spell does it not?

@Bruce Lee, remember that there's a bug with free action items: if you wear the item before donning other items that affect speed or location (like boots of haste), the latter does nothing. If you wear items causing free action after donning items that give haste, phrasing, etc, you simply gain free action and lose nothing.

@Mabrook, please don't push your luck. ;)

@Mabrook, please don't push your luck.

It's code for push your luck as much as you can. Flame fable! DO IT!! :D

These boots of phasing sound pretty slick, but why are they cursed, sounds pretty neat to me, especially for a bard.

@User, don't mock bards, they willl write some song of flame to roast you and curse your descendants.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

Not meant to be a flame, it just struck me as very funny. Thanks
Damn I forgot it's an irregular verb. I'm not offended, since I'm not an english native speaker (is this correct??). Thanks for improving my english language level though ^_^. I would greatly appreciate that everybody critizices me :p .

Sorry for replying so late, the last time I checked there was only one reply. Well the boots are somewhere in the game, because I had them in other games. But I don't remeber it very well... It is possible that I cheated them into the game that other time, too ^_^.

Hey Userfriendly, you seem to be famous here. It's like you have found (that's irregular too =)) a cheese for every situation. Do you make custom items for your characters too? or you only edit them with SK?. Your tricks are very good, I'm playing an inquisitor now, any suggestions?

Thx to everybody!!!!

(reached the 3 posts!!!!!!! ^_^)
