This #1 thing I love about the net is... National Review Online! Gamebanshee comes a distant... uh, fourth, after the New Republic and CNN.com.
The #1 thing I hate are the pop-up adds, though I've heard you can download software that addresses this problem. The exorbitant amount of time I spend surfin' around comes a distant seventh, since I don't really have a life outside work, and probably still won't before Icewind Dale II and BG3 are released.
Its a bit cheesy though - it just prevents multiple IE windows from being opened. You have to know when you're getting ads and when you want to add details to pop up forms etc.

Agreed - alleviates boredom by talking to other bored people.
I dislike the randomness though - searching for the needle in the haystack. Plus, there are so many "needles" you often end up picking one and sticking with it and not bothering with the others.

That is true, i have about 2 tech sites that i frequent often but i don't carry on and look for others, i think however it is somewhat of a character trait; when i find a good author i stick with him for a long time.
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
