Craigs's shop open for buissness!!! Come on come all!
Just to add some words of warning perhaps to the 'receivers' or 'creators' of the items: first, many of these effects can be realized as spells on the items, having limited amount of charges per day. Easy to do. But, you all know the Cowled Wizards in BG2. So when your "Lord of the Rings" party is walking like big mojo's in Athkala and start a fight with some band of muggers on the streets, and want to show of your flashy effects.. Let's just say that you will shortly and soon have a fight on your hands with the Cowled ones. Sure some spells are only clerical ones (and Cowled ones don't care about divine spells), but not all
So you will be either forced to pay 5000 gold, or fight the Cowled ones (which I always do, after few levels though). Just be careful with yer effects and spells on the items
And yes, I could also make all these items, but no, I haven't got the time for this. Busy life.

If you want, I can also throw together a few of these items...but no scripting though

It may seem like I'm doing nothing, but on cellular level, I'm really quite busy...

Ok, who want to test out The One Ring? I have done a small test, but that was only when the script was only for 1 character. I have updated the script so that it take into account all 6 characters. There are a few changes though:
- Identify only by Identify spell - since this practically gives you a very large bonus to Lore for a split second, it is impossible to do the other way around; at least not one that I know of.
- If unequipped after 1 day, alignment will change to True Neutral - only if you not Evil already
- The effects for unequipping after 10 days are accumulative - so if you put it back on for 10 days after removing it after 10 days, and then take it off 10 days later, you'll get more penalty to your ability scores
- Invisibility works the same way as the Staff of the Magi, so if you pick up something or attack someone it will go away, and since so can reequip without removing it first, you'll be visible until you remove and put it back on. I could run a continuous script that check whether you're invisible or not, but I'll save that for later.
So if anyone want to test out the ring, give me your email address and I'll send the ring over with instructions.

@Knight Errant, IHMO you should tone those items down a bit. In Moria, they couldn't fight the balrog. With your items, Aragorn and Gandalf could take on a balor at level 10.
I just think you should tone them down a bit, such as not giving all the abilities or AC bonuses.
EDIT: Sabre, check your PM.

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.
Hey Gaxx, I see your point, but these guys are the "champions" of middle earth.
1) The balrog is the most powerful breed of demons, and killed whol nations of dwarves
2) At the time, Aragorn didnt wield Anduil, and Gandalf was still Gandalf the Grey.
So really, they would have to run, since none of them had the ability to fight the balrog. Gandalf almost was defeated by it, and hes a demi god. Kind of like the final battle in ToB.

The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

I, also, would like to check out the LoTR items as well. Aegis' scimitars if you still have them. Question is, how do you get them into the game. Do you find them somewhere or just insert them into characters inventory.
Sorry with all the questions. I've played all the games but know little about scripting and/or CLUA and/or creating items.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
To get the items in the game you'll need the installation program to firstly install them into the game, then you can either use Shadow Keeper to add them to the character's inventory from the savegame or use CLUAConsole to add them while in the game. If you want to see how they are done, check out the BGII Custom Items section of my site - download one and see for yourself.
That is if craig's not planning to do any thing special with them.
