I might be wrong, and my knowledge might be out of date, but I seem to remember that Fanatics have to shoot when something comes within eight inches...and I really wonder what Tyrion himself is doing abandonning the rest of his army to go and charge goblins...anyway that's all irrelevent I guess. High elves are nothing to wood elves though...I think the only thing that can beat wood elves regularly is skaven, but really, the only front on which High Elves are much better than Wood Elves is heavy cavalry, and who needs heavy cavalry anyway when you've got dryads?
anyway I was never a fantasy battles player...so I'll shut up now.
@Kayless, the scenery is lovely
can anyone get photos of their exciting miniatures up here? (aegis?)
I'll have a go with a digital camera and see if I can get some photos of the Khorne Imperator-Jugger-Dreadnaught and my Noise biker...I'd love to see the lord you were talking about earlier aegis....
Obviously there would be other fighting going on across the battlefield, but I was just covering that portion of the fight (mapping out an entire theoretical battle would be a bit much, even for me).

I've been playing orcs for around 8 years now, and I've found you generally have to do more strategic planning than other armies (like specific unit placement to minimize animosity, something other armies don't have to worry about. There's also factoring in the orc's "ignore goblin panic" ability (and the black orc's "ignore greenskin panic") when deciding just who goes into battle). We'll show those gits that da' ladz are just as thinky as anybody else!
They're so painful to look at it burns the retinas, but I'm too lazy to go back and repaint a hundred plastic goblin spearmen.
