Thanks all for enlightening me on the grisly subject of infomercials. Or rather desinfomercials. I don't really feel like I've missed something :P

Here in the states, there is no such thing as commercial free...(except for the occasional football (soccer) match.
In Sweden we still have stately TV channels, I think it's quite good to have a few channels that show film without breaks and, most important of all, show more narrow film, documentaries, educational programs etc that wouldn't be profitable.
