Return of The Mummy- whatever the new one's called

Good movie, reminded me of the LoTR plot. You may notice it after watching it a couple of times.
Has some nice extra features. Gives you some background info on Eygpt, stuff not shown on the movie and making of the movie.

I liked the movie, but listen to the commentary. Its hillarious. Its basicaly 2 hours of the directer and Writer(?) noting all the mistakes they made during the movie. Just like the commentary for the usual suspects.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Special Edition

This is one of the ten funniest movies ever made, and the best of the Python movies to hit the big screen.

The DVD is one of the best DVDs I've encountered. There's lots of extras, and they're all on a second disk. The Lego Knights are hilarious, as is everything else they've included. If you're a fan of Monty Python or Holy Grail this is an absolute "must have".

Aliens

The first two movies in the Alien Legacy series are the rock of the franchise, and are two of the best science-fiction movies ever produced. The first movie was a horror movie set in space and the second movie is more of an action-adventure flick. Both are absolutely terrifying, especially if you watch them with a top notch sound system and big screen TV.

The Aliens DVD doesn't have much extra stuff, although the interview with Jim Cameron is pretty interesting. The best part about the DVD is the 17 minutes of footage they put back in. Some of it will only be noticed by hardcore Aliens fans, but I liked that they showed the colonists encountering the Alien ship and being exposed to the facehuggers.

Hidden features - why?!?

Call me unreasonable, but if I spend my cash on a DVD, I expect to be able to access the special features. Is that so unreasonable? Something like The Matrix, with the whole "follow the white rabbit" thing - fair enough, it fits in with the movie and it's easy enough to spot. But when you have no idea what you're looking for or where it might be, it's very frustrating!!

BTW, if anyone could tell me how to find the hidden feature on the Memento DVD, I would be disarmingly grateful. Thankyou. If I ever find it, I'll post a review of the DVD.

. I know I have it somewhere around here. As to wether I've found it yet. Well we see just how hard it actually is.

The hidden feature in Memento is the fact that you can watch the film in chronological order - to do this, click on the last polaroid on the special features screen, when you see the picture of Guy Pierce.

And also, found after a short search on Google, I found this:

From the disc’s main menu, go to the 'Special Features.' Here, select the entry 'Memento' and you will get to a newspaper page featuring select words that slowly fade in and out. Highlighting each fading word takes you to another part of the original website. However, if you move over to the word 'Questions' in the title of the article - it barely fades in and out - you'll see that there's scribbled underlining there. Click and you'll see a scrap of paper reading: 'who did I kill?'

Click the arrow that leads to the right and you'll be taken to a list of names. Click almost any name and you'll get sent back to the article. However, if you click the name 'Teddy' you'll be taken to a credits screen for the people who worked on the DVD.

I'd heard that was what it was, but I hadn't found it. To be fair, I probably hadn't tried too much though...
