FHC/MST almost fun

Explaining:
FHC- Fernando Henrique Cardoso, president of Brasil, an icon in brazilian sociogily, but a man who forgot what he wrote. I hate him.
MST- Movimento dos Sem-Terra("Order of the land-less" in my poor english) An order of poor people who want land to work; the most well organized and representative outlaw group in Brazil. They invade lands(private possesions) with no production to work on it. They invade land with work instruments and knifes. From time to times the cops came and lots of the both sides die. Of course the cops use real guns.

A few days ago the MST in a miracolous act invade FHC's land and mansion. They still there until now.

@Fable--I think what Delacroix meant by miraculous is gutsy (taking over the President's land) and it is a miracle they are all still there and not dead yet.

Last time I was in Guatemala, the same thing is going on. The military owns a lot of land they don't use, and people there have been squatting on it. I'm all for it. Something needs to happen to give more equitable land distribution in latin america.

What's miraculous about it?

Invade the president mansion and wacth TV in the main room, is miraculous a bit funny, a bit ridicolous.

I see in the news now. By a contract the MST leave the mansion with no punition and no prisons. BUT, the liders were caged by the cops(The State broke the contract). The president of the MST say that if the justice do not accept the Habeas Corpus request, they'll invade again.

Just to end the fact.

This monday the justice declare the MST leaders free from any coercion, as rule the contract .
The leaders are free.
And two oficials of the INCRA(Oficial Organ responsible for the agrary reformation(there must be a better term for this) and lands in general) quit their jobs because of the previous broke of the contract.
