The joy of finding something you've been looking for
Woohoo! Found my 2nd CD of BG2!
Understandably, I'm pretty happy.

Well, that's very good news indeed! Mostly for you alone of course but still...

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

OK, maybe Ode could have namned it "The joy of finding something you've been looking for" instead and asked for our stories as well. I for one will be very glad when I find Grim Fandango (which I've borrowed from a friend who wants it back) and Episode 1 Racer (cause that joystick of mine is collecting to much dust).
So what about the rest of you, what are you looking forward to find again?

I found Voodoo by D'Angelo the other day, i have been missing my most listened to CD
I am actually looking for LotR which i have somewhere at home, not sure where to start though
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

I couldn´t find my engagement ring this morning after showering. I have to find it quickly before I meet her tonight or storms and lightning will follow![]()

Oh man, you're in deep trouble! In case we never see you anymore I'd like to, on behalf of all BG members, express our gratitude for your contribution to the boards.Originally posted by Leonardo

I went to listen to Lou Reed's Rock and Roll Animal the other day and noticed it is missing. Ahhhhhhhhh! I'm one of those types that doesn't misplace things so when something goes missing it drives me batty.
btw, the Banshee told me I'm the only member browsing this forum. I know about the hide your name lurker stuff but it is weird to just only your name there.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

As far as I was aware, the no-spam rule referred to not spamming on 'serious' topics. My apologies to the board if I misunderstood it. I figured I'd give people somewhere to let out their spamming needs where it wouldn't cause any hassle.
No, once you've installed ToB you don't need the SoA CDs, but I haven't been able to install SoA on my PC yet due to not having the 2nd SoA CD.
Good idea. Could one of the mods take care of it please?

It isn't a problem, there is just a level of quality to the conversations that we hope to maintain. I have no problem with spam to some degree's but spam for spams sake can be a little much for everyone, why not try to make the thread an entertianing thread aswell as spam?Originally posted by Ode to a Grasshopper

@sleepy: SO if I understand correctly -> IF it't SPAM - it can't be fun(ny) - and IF it's FUN(NY) it'S definitely not SPAM ??Originally posted by Mr Sleep

EDIT: BTW - I just tried a SEARCH for "What is spam" on GB Forums, and as reply I got a list of nearly EVERY thread on SYM. What does that tell us ?
No worries,

What i mean is, if it is spam keep it entertaining and not just nonesense, if you must post nonesense (why oh why?) then put it in a tavern thread or something of that ilk. That way people don't have to keep sifting through loads of spam threads to find an interesting topic. Does that make sense.Originally posted by Beldin
