Are they related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
I realize this is meant in a spirit of frivolous lightheadedness which is dear to my heart--but just possibly, the creators of that series actually took it from the idea of those sewer-bound reptiles.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
