References to BG2 characters?
In another thread I said Keldorn being mentioned in Ajantis' bio. Are there more references to BG2 characters in BG1? Has anyone noticed? Of course some NPC's are both in 1 & 2, and Saverok is in ToB but I mean references to new NPC's of BG2.

Mom said not to talk to strangers. I asked her what that meant and she said "anyone who looks stranger than your relatives." Except Uncle Sue. I guess. - A boy in Baldur's Gate

Jon I... yeah, I've heard of him. Bad mutha, right?
Actually, I noticed that myself in my earlier games but didn't remember it anymore. Thanks.
Makes me wonder; whether ppl at Bioware had actually thought of BG2 plot already when they made BG1, or did they just take a neat name they had used in BG1 for the main villain in the sequel.

Yep, i read about them.
The only problem now is that I'm trying to get throuhg the game with the smallest possible party, and my inventory is full already. Where should i put the pantaloons for the rest of the game?!?
Perhaps i take a npc to my party, gibe pantaloons to him/her and try to remember collect them in the end of the game....

I can't speak specifically for the Bioware folks, but I know that some developers (and many good writers) plan out all the history of their characters and areas in advance of doing a specific novel in a given setting. That's because it feels more real to the writers; and because when internal references carry over the edges of a novel or a game, there's a sense of continuity to a greater universe that makes the whole thing feel more "alive."Originally posted by Moleman

Hope that helps.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I also heared that the sculptor in BG I, Prism, mentions Ellesime as his source of inspiration.
