I believe if you took your scores on the left which are on a /100 scale and divided them by 25, you would then have them on a 4.0 scale; but I'm no math major.

I'm pretty sure Ned would be right because 100/4 = 25, thus a 1.0 = 25, 2.0 = 50, 3.0 = 75, and 4.0 = 100. :)

That is what I originally thought, but it was incorrect.

Because a 3.5 GPA is a good one, but if you multiply it by 25, you get an 87.5% An 87.5 is far too low to be a 3.5

prateek,

I think the ratios are quite simple to convert.

Conversion formula........

25 = 1
--- = --
100 = 4

Thus:

50 = a
--- = ---
100 = 4 where 4 * 50 = 200 and 200 devided by 100= 2

I think :rolleyes: :cool:

It ISN'T a simple ratio as many of you think.....there is a major curve:

I'm sure a 3.68 is MUCH higher than a 92

If a 3.0 was a 75, and anything over a 2.0 is considered college-bound... then.....well.....I think my whole grade would have it easy :p

I've never seen this sort of grading system. Usually letter grades just stand for a numerical value: A is 4, B is 3, etc, and honors and AP courses just add one more point and divide by the total number of courses. Getting a 4.5, really really happy. :D :D :D

3.68/4 multiply both *25 you get 92/100 exactly. why 3.68 should be much higher than 92 ?? looks fine by me. :D
