Help! Watcher's Keep level 2 (SPOILER!)

Post by Minerva »

SPOILER WARNING! If you haven't been there yet.

There are two problem I'm facing in the Watcher's Keep level 2. I have already checked the walkthrough of GB, and confirmed it's something not right.

Firstly, in the Air Library, I suppose to face nice bunch of Golems. Well, I met them and got killed. Problem is the reload: I found there are no Golems. I reloaded a several times from my quick save just before entering the Library, still no Golems.

Secondly, after taking the luck not to facing the Golems, I cleared all rooms, then faced Fire Giant. I managed to drug him out from his room and close all doors except the one to Ice Room. I killed all Fire Elementals, and he went Near Death. And he's been Near Death status for 15 minutes, without regenerating. There's no way he survives, as there's no way he can go back to his room to regenerate.

I'm terribly confused... :(

Any help will be welcomed.

Thank you.

First of all, regarding the air library - the golems don't always show up right away - so don't worry, you'll get your chance to kill a few of them. :p ;)

Regarding the Fire Giant - he'll be unkillable until you "weaken" him - there is a note describing how to do that in one of the libraries. If you're really stuck....

To kill the Fire Giant, you have to lure the 4 fire elementals from the fire room into the ice room and then kill them after they freeze. However, you'll first have to deal with the denizens in the ice room, if you haven't already.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

@Sojourner: Do you mean I actually need to send 4 Fire Elementals to the Ice room, just like sacrifices? I assumed I just kill them whatever the means, and sending them to the Ice room is the easiest way... I should read notes more carefully. :o

Okay, I'm going to try it.

Thanks. :)

UPDATE

I haven't even picked the note in the Ice Library. How stupid of me... :o

I hacked the Fire Giant without any difficulty. As long as the missing Golems is not a problem, I'm keep going.

Thanks again. :)
