Another Bio, would like an oppinion

This is the bio for my rogue/fighter i just submitted
I would like an opinion!


Stilgar was found as an orphan by a retired paladin called Duncan.
Duncan raised Stilgar as his own son, and besides giving him an good education, he thought him the art of combat.
But Stilgar always was an outsider, he was the only halfling in a small human town, and if it wasn't for Duncans good reputation he would be banished from the village a long time ago.

Then one day, his foster-father was brutally slaughtered by some bandits who plundered the village they lived in.
From that point on, Stilgar was on his own, for the first time in his live.
Although he was taught different, the only means for him to survive was by stealing his food, or pickpocketing nobels who where passing by.
This way he survived for many years, and he became an excelent thief, as wel as the fighter he already was.

Then one day, he recognized one of the murderers of his father in a local inn, and he followed him back to the bandit camp.
They where with a small group, not more that 6 or 7 of them, but they where well armed.
When he saw the leader of the bandits , who was wearing Duncan's helmet, something snapped inside him.
Later that night he stole some very powerfull poison from the local priest, and returned to the bandit camp.
He hid just behind a bush, and began poisonning his arrows.
The bandits dropped like flies, they never knew what hit them, but as he found out when he was inspecting the body's, the leader escaped.
Stilgar felt he needed to avenge his father and decided to track down the leader, and he went in pursuit.

A months of scouring the lands, he was finaly able to track down the leader and the murderer of his father, who he now knew, was called Rabban.
He waited while Rabban was drinking in an inn, and as soon as Rabban left he followed him.
Just as he wanted to push his blade in the back of Rabban he hesitated, and just scratched him.
Rabban quickly drew his sword, and wanted to attack.
But evasive as Stilgar was, he evaded the what would be fatal blow of Rabban, and challenged him to a duel.
After a long battle Stilgar was finaly able to plunge his sword in the chest of Rabban, quickly ending his life.

But now that Stilgar had his revenge, he didn't know where to go, he couldn't go back to his home village, and he couldn't stay here either.
But then he remembered Duncan, talking about a guild, and Stilgar decited to go an try, try to be.....

I found it rather hard, couse I wanted my bio to fit with my class, and with my ChoaticGood allignment.

I could change the name of Duncan to Kamir.
Just to have a bridge to the Baldur's Gate series

I like this part the most.

Me to, but I think it's rather average, cause there isn't any comment. But then again, i wouldn't read and comment every bio there is!

Lemme guess... You read Dune?

What kind of a priest was that, to have such poison lying around?

Yes, I always base my character names on Dune Characters (Leto/Stilgar/Alia/Ghanima/Duncan/Thufir)
I don't know what Priest it was, who else couldd have some poison lying around??? Maybe to create an antidote!
