I also saw that, and I must admit it made my breath catch. I suppose discovery of our guild is inevitable though, and hopefully if the word does get out people won't use it to metagame and form some sorta grievance with us out of game.

We will see if we are discorvered through the GB-NwN sites.
If pepole find the forum as informative as we do and start visiting the forum, we are busted - if not - we would/could go on in secracy. :)

Before I see our name posted on Argyle or something similar - I don't really fear that the general population of Argyle knows of us :)

Otherwise - it shouldn't change much - we will continue as nothing has happened - and as stated by AJ. hope that the others won't metagame :D

Even if they did know who we are, most of us are not exactly carrying our GamBanshee names in the world of Argyle.

And I believe that the thread was posted quite a while ago, hopefully nobody's none the wiser.

He he he - well so far I've seen or heard nothing from any of the Argylian members or TAT'ers, so I think our secret is still pretty safe. There is a big jump from reading an article on a site to entering the forum and from there to start reading what it says.

So for now ..... IMO we are "safe" :D

But then again, as fun as it could be to keep it seceret untill we are strong (if we become) ingame, we loose nothing much by discovering :) (except a whole lot of fun in scheming :D )

Why are we so scared of being discovered.
Sure its nice to be secretive and then show up, but we got 3 times the number of members compared to those other guilds.
Nothing to fear.
And they'll be as suprised finding such a big guild form without their knowledge. :D

Well it seems we have 3 times the number of other guilds - but if we determine anything by activity we are about a 1/3 of that number :D :D

Besides size in this stage dosen't matter - what matters is who lives long enough in-game to start and join the guild :D :D
How many "members" we have out-game have no effect on that.

The actual numbers of our guild once NWN has been released will probably be lower then our 64 that we have now.

We need single-classed Clerics... Get one to level 11 as quickly as possible, and the Guild's chances increase dramatically.

I'd be happy to take the position. ;)

Not exactly scared, just hoping that when we are discovered or reveal ourselves, it would be too late for the rest of the Argylians to do anything about it. Would love to read their reaction then :D

We are just too famous

Actually, I think Buck has just done too good of a job to keep us a secret. I was amazed to see a link to GameBanshee from the Black Isle Icewind Dale II webite (check it out here ).

Well, the bright side is: more visitors = more money for Buck (hopefully).

Don't think Buck has anything to do with our secrecy.
*watches the sky wary of getting something big in the head*

The reason "we" haven't been discovered is that there is a long way from looking at an interview or aticle on a site, to entering it's forums and from there to reading it :)

Remeber that it isnt Bucks "duty" to keep our secrecy... the only reason this guild even exists is because of him (probably)... we are at his mercy!

We're always grateful for the growth of GB. We all were ne at one point and we hope others find this place and enjoy. I see no need for utmost secrecy other than we want to avoid meta-gaming. It's not like we want to take over the world of Argyle. We just want success and fun.

The better job Buck continues to do, the more publicity it will get, the more money Buck will get, and the better place GB will continue to become for all of us members.
