How do you reactivate autoplay in win98?
I must have deactivated it by mistake.

I have never heard of this happening, but try this.

Right click on My Computer and click on Properties

Go to the Device Manager tab

Click on + next to CDROM

Select the CD-ROM that is not autoplaying and click on Properties

Click on the Settings tab

Make sure that the Auto Insert Notification checkbox is checked

Click OK

Insert a CD that you want to play. If it starts automatically, then you're back in business. If it doesn't, you might check back here for other suggestions. If nobody else can help you, use this as an excuse to buy/build a completely new computer.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

It didn't work, but thanx for the atmpted help!

BTW I don't need an excuse to build/ buy a new PC. But unfotunatly people seem to charge mony for that here  . Which is something that I am kind of short on now. (A bit of sarcasm never heart anyone! :D )
