What???

Post by LichSlayer21 »

First off I would like to say that this post may sound like me being a braggart or being self centered that is in no way the purpose of this post now onto the topic is Irenicus in the Asylum supposed to be this easy becaus i beat him with no damage to anybody in my party without any summoned creautures and my pary is relaticly low level with a crappy PC (lvl 13 Avenger) and I was looking forward to a huge hard battle and it was simple is he harder in Suldanesslar and Hell??? because I would really like him to be hard to kill for the grand finale

Actually, I found him a LOT harder in Suldan:

In suldan, due to a stupid game bug, u need to watch out for dead chars. Sometimes their equipment doesn't pop up @ your feet in hell.

In suldan, Irenicus REALLY uses spells: Wail of the Banshee, symbol: Fear, Absolute Immunity, and he also somehow kills my char in one hit (I DONT think it's wail of the banshee). In hell, he mwahahahahs, turns into slayer, and then stupidly watches as you proceed to beat down on each of the four demons instead of actually making the battle hard. I mean he could have cast confusion, or at least imprisoned someone, not to say anything about simply killing all my mages with his slayer form. I don't think that I was protected from evil, either. So in the end there was way too much power for him to deal with; not even a threat.

i agree it was a though battle in suldanesselar and i had to try a couple of times until i manage to kill him and when i did i only had my own char left.
And in Hell he was well... easy.
i went un prepared to the battle (no protections, haste, pets and some of the party members weren't fully healed!)and even then i almost managed to kill him.
the second try i hacked away all of his demons with my fighter.
and then hacked the **** outof him with all my party members.
He didn't live long Image Image
But i expected a whole lot more of the final battle Image

I was a bit disappointed by Irenicus, too. In the Elven City, I have cast Death Ward, and Resist Fear and I used my Greenstone Amulets, then I used "run away" tactics to waste his Time Stops. Irenicus was able to show me only Maze, that's all. In the Hell, the whole fight was against his 4 demons, Irenicus itself was no problem at all.
