Advice needed (SPOILERS)

uhmmm, problem is, in one of my current parties I have a
Kensai/Mage + Imoen. Duo-party. I gain levels at light speed,
I've now finished all the quests in SoA, only the final chapter
remains (suldanessalar and everything).
Both are over 5,000,000 xp in mage class!

I cannot decide how to procede! Should I finish now the game
and continue to ToB (with Ascension and improved fights) or
do Watcher's Keep and then Irenicus??
I mean, if I do the Keep probably I'll face Irenicus with
two 30th level mages, or more!
I dunno 'cause in ToB I'll take Sarevok, but for now I wanted
to have some more fun with the duo/party, and originally planned
to do the Keep while still in SoA.
But now I see Sarevok would be MUCH weaker in levels...
(not too important maybe, with three members he'll gain levels
fast and he's already powerful)

What do you think would be the best choice, guys??

If you want to pick up Sarevok, kill Irenicus first so you can go through the Watcher's Keep with him.

Hm....this is one of those Kuno Syndrome posts: "I cannot choose, I must have both!" kind of things. Really, I can't advise you, since there are good aspects to both.

I will say this: destroying Irenicus seemed to me a lot easier than hitting the upper levels of WK. And just by doing the first level of WK, you can get a potions holder, a missiles holder, and a very nice crossbow.

So you may just want to think about finishing the first level of WK, only, then doing Irenicus, then returning to WK, afterwards.

Anyway, I'll go for Irenicus, and probably I'll reach ToB
close to the xp-cap (the ToB cap, I mean!!!!!)
I'll go through ToB with two mages over the 32th level...
At least I think Ascension should be difficult enough.

I personally believe that it would be a much better idea if you went to the keep first because you can get much more xp plus better weapons to modify when you get to actual throne of bhaal episode
