balthazar or watchers keep??

Post by Artemis Entreri »

Ok, im sure it is no big deal but would it be better to go ahead and deal with that smart A@@ Balthazar or go ahead and go through Watchers Keep?? I've already defeated Sendai and Abazigal and Balthazar is just sitting on his little throne waiting on me, im so ready to see him face to face again. Any advise would be appreciated, thanx

You are correct it is no big deal. I personally would do Watcher's Keep because of the Ph@t L3wt and exp's (not that Balthazar isn't a push over for a level 15 Transmuter)anyway - Curdis !

I did Whatchers keep right afer I killed the fire giant.
Doing it asap makes it more challenging. But it makes the rest a bit easyer and thats a shame. :(

It may be a bigger deal than you think. I've only been through ToB once, but when I killed Balthazar I couldn't get back out. Once you do that, it's endgame time....

Or at least it was for me.....of course I'd already done Watcher's Keep, so ??

On a related note, when are you "supposed to" do the keep?

well right after i posted this thread, i finished ToB. i went ahead and killed balthazar then did watchers keep. The first time i played it, before i bought a new computer, i did watchers keep before i fought any of the big three, sendai, balthazar and abizagal. Lets just say it was a lot easier this time with the extra experience. ;) But still a good challenge. So i don't think it matters "when" you do watchers keep, only "HOW"!! Make sure you kill Demogorgan and not mess up like i did and just imprison him. I thought that was the right thing to do. But from looking on here, killing him gives you a lot more EXP compared to my 80000 for locking him up and throwing away the key. Oh well, there is always next time.

I'm curious.....how do you do that? Do you have to edit yourself out of his compound, or do you get to exit via the "pocket plane"?

Is there a way out of his compound that I just never found?

And does it have anything to do with how you got IN in the first place? I accepted our old "friend's" help.....

;-)

well that might be something to do with it, i didn't except ole saemon's help, i went through the graveyard where that lich was. I didn't think i did anything out of the ordinary after i defeated balthazar, if i remember right, had some more comentarty with solar and then went back out and showed up in the town. I believe that is how it happened. No tinkering needed.
