Aerie lost special abilities?
Aerie lost special abilities?
Hi, anyone have this happen before? Aerie no longer can use her special abilities. It's really a downer because she's finally at the point where she can use powerful cleric/mage sequencers, and I can't access them.
Is the special abilites button (Star at left hand end - <F12>) greyed out? If the special abilities you picked for Aerie were spell/spell-like you have to memorise them like spells.
If you don't have any sequencers or triggers etc. currently set then they won't appear in the special abilities bar, and Aerie (if I remember correctly) doesn't have any special abilites (except for whine incessently, and pretend she is mature enough for a sexual relationship). - Curdis !

This has happened to me before, It seems that if you sleep without using your sequencers/triggers the game can have a snit and pretend like you don't got them. If you recast sequencers the button has a 2 subscript (but at least you can access the special abilities). It certainly doesn't happen all the time and might be due to dreams interupting rest?? - More annoying than anything else. - Curdis !

This has happened to me several times, too. To fix this in-game, I cast a sequencer of another type (like Minor Sequencer, which I hardly use), so I can access the sequencers via the special abilities button. I then cast the offending sequencers on my party (safe since at this point they're expired), which gets rid of them, then I re-set them. Of course, if you've set up all the available sequencers, you won't be able to do it this way, but will have to use Shadowkeeper.Originally posted by Curdis

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I'll agree with you there - I started having the sequencer problem only after installing ToB.
