Already covered (as long as they don’t backslide when the plot requires someone to panic).

Here, here.

3) Forget about a youth movement and get some more realistic senior officers (preferably played by actors who have talent). If you were building a state-of-the-art starship, would you entrust it to a bunch of Ensigns and Lieutenants? Hell, no!. You'd load it up with senior officers (O-5 Commanders and O-6 Captains) and let the Ensigns and Lieutenants fix coffee and stay out of the way. Also, where's the Chief of the Boat (or it's 22nd Century equivalent)? That's another thing I hate about Star Trek: everyone's an officer.
I think Trek has dealt fairly extensively with older crew. The last thing they want is to retread the Original Movies with Kirk and co. cruising galaxies well into their geriatric years. And aside from the occasional John Glen, most modern astronauts are younger anyway. As for enlisted men, are we forgetting Chief O'Brien? He was there since TNG's pilot after all, so Trek has addressed that issue (and it's important to remember that Star Fleet isn't an exact duplication of modern navy ranks and positions). If anything, Trek needs better fight chorography. The hand-to-hand fight scenes have always seemed too static to me (especially when compared with the Wu-shu style combat Andromeda utilizes).

4) Give Sub-Commander T'Pol the NYPD Blue treatment and show more skin (or just play the video from her Maxim photoshoot in lieu of the next episode).
ACK! No way. They've already been way too heavy handed with those freaking 'decontamination' scenes. I don’t need to see two Star Fleet officers lube each other up in some convoluted delousing chamber to appreciate Jolene Blalock's beauty. The last thing I want is for T’Pol to turn into a pale Seven of Nine clone.

No accounting for taste, as they say. I like the song. You don't. Paramount isn't changing it. End of story (Though I'm glad they didn't buckle under fanboy pressure, unlike Lucasfilm and the whole N'Sync issue).

6) I want a promise, in writing, from Rick Berman that he won't bring Michael Dorn in at the end of season four as an obvious ratings booster.
Worf rocks. :D Though a buddy of mine were always talking about how cool it would be if Worf showed up on Voyager, decapitated Janeway, and took over the ship. :p

Star Trek and the Man Show? I thinketh not.

I think it's cool that Enterprise isn't an all-powerful destroyer right out of the starting gate. Humans are the new kids on the block in this era. Let's see them struggle for a while.

9) Scott Bakula is a great guy, a pretty good actor and not a bad man to play the first Captain of the Enterprise. But he's carrying the show right now. Either help him out or stop pretending that it's an ensamble effort.
Jolene Blalock still hasn't got her character down. The others are reasonable (Bakula, Donnie Keating, and John Billengsley are my favorites)

I love Trek, I just hold it to a higher standard then some (or have I said that already? ;) ). Voyager isn't Trek, it's trash. :p They ruined Q, the Borg, and almost the Klingons too. There was potential there but it was squandered. Maquis crewmen? Nah, just more guys in Star Fleet uniforms. Lost in the far reaches of space? Gee, they sure didn't look like they were struggling for supplies (Andromeda and Enterprise have been much better at showing that). And the crew was always so damn smug about their petty little accomplishments. Newsflash Janeway: You suck. My buddy (the same one I talked to about Worf :D ) and I agreed that if she would have shaved her head the show would have drastically improved. After all, Kirk (wears a rug, or tribble ;) ), Picard, and Sisco were all bald. :D

Kate Mulgrew is one of my favorite actresses in Star Trek! Janeway-sama didn't always do what I think she should of done(blame the writers for that ;) ), but I thought she was cool. I just wish they'd had Seven-san end up with Janeway-sama or the Doctor instead of with Chakotay-san and that they had kept Kes-chan. Those were the biggest mistakes made in Star Trek: Voyager.

Janeway and Seven together?! Image Image

The reason I'm so hard on Voyager is that had potential to be so much more than it was. Here's hoping Enterprise lives up to it's potential (and if it doesn't, there's always Andromeda). Image Image

Certainly. They had some rather intimate situations(or at least, situations with the potential for intimacy) that could have easily developed into a full relationship.

I have to agree that it didn't reach its potential, but it was still very good. The other big mistake they made was cutting the ending so short. :(

The first season of all the "modern" Trek series have generally been lousy with a few bright spots. Mostly it seems like the writers and the actors need to spend some time getting to know each other and their characters. My favourite was DS9 and my least favourite was Voyager.

Like our friend Kayless, I think the Voyager concept was very good, but it was diluted and never realised its full potential. Voyager also had to compete with DS9 for a couple of years for the good writers and Bermans attention while Enterprise does not have to worry about a drain on creativity or resources.

Enterprise had, and still has, a lot of potential and is undergoing some growing pains, but that doesn't mean it's high quality right now (which it's not). I imagine that after the first season wraps, Rick Berman and company will do some housecleaning, add some characters, kill/transfer/promote some others, tweak the writing staff and the second season will be better. But right now, Enterprise is at its best a middle-of-the-pack show and at its worst just a step up from Cleopatra 2525 or Sheena.

What's Sheena?
You must have been the only one who liked it. Sheena was another of the low-budget syndicated adventure shows that tried to follow in the footsteps of Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess. It's about a chick who runs around the jungle in skimpy outfits and has powers similar to Tarzan and the Beast Master. It is bad.

Well...

I liked Voyager. Sure, sometimes it stank, but it had its high points:
-the finding of the Equinox
-species 8472
-most of the time travel ones
-the one with Quinn and Q
-the one with the doctor going back to the Alpha Quadrant
-the Horogen taking over the ship
-the Borg

Low points:
-Seven of Nine's addition to the show
-Seven of Nine's addition to the show
-Seven of Nine's addition to the show
-Seven of Nine's addition to the show

Oh, I agree with Kayless about everything on Enterprise.
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.
