Neverwinter Nights: full steam ahead

Post by fable »

Just in case you missed the opening BG2 news (which few people read) and Sleep's post under the NWN category, the game is back on track. And not for October, either: it's scheduled for release this quarter. Here's a link to the story:

Weasel, to make up some past time youcan pray that Warcraft 3 are now on beta test. You can fill your emptiness by trying WarCraft 3 when it's out. I believe it'll be out soon :)

Good news, Fable :) For a while now, I have actually been thinking that the game would never be released. I just hope I will have some time to actually play it...

As for the release data - it still stands as it has done in a while:
There is no release date for Neverwinter Nights. When we have a release date, this post will change with the addition of the release date.

The release dates that you see at retail sites are their best guess as to when the game will ship. Sorry, but it is just that; a guess.

That being said, things are progressing quite smoothly on the game and we are still on track for a release this winter season.

Addendum: this winter season is defined as December 21st, 2001 through March 20th, 2002. Sorry for the confusion.

But of course - seeing as they (BioWare and Interplay) have come to an agreement and a publisher has been found - this "release" has taken a big step forward.

But I would like to soon see an expected release date, or at least some new info about the game :)

I'd rather wait ...

Personally, I would rather have the thing come out in late summer - after school (including summer session) is out, and I can chill for hours on end in a nice cool basement with a fun new game! ;)

But that's just me.

Peace.

Heh. You can do a Kuno: "I cannot choose, I must have both!" :D (A Ranma 1/2 joke, for the unintiated.)

More seriously, they'll keep you going over the dull summer months.
