I would strongly hope that these polls will not be mis-used by anybody...... I'd hate to see this place turned into a poll-mania, like we see on other boards.

Poll-mania would be one thing that would get me out of SYM for good :)

Yes i like it.
But i have been using the same format on 2 other sites.
So i doesn't make a difference, just easier. :D

Fewer incidents of spam, infammatory statements, and disregard of the rules of etiquette, by relative comparison. I'd peg the emotional/ intellectual age of the members on SYM somewhere in the 18 -22 range, whereas Black Isle falls somewhere in the 13-17 range.

I hate to speak for our friend Aegis, but I believe that he thought your comment was saying that the membership here at GB was somehow more mature than before (that's how I took it anyway). After less than a day of hanging around and trying to get used to the new paint job, I think it is safe to assume that the SYMmers haven't matured any and are up to the usual spamming (although the return of C Elegans might bring the average IQ up a few points).
