what do you think would be more fun out of these?
soloing a sorc, viconia and korgan
soloing a cleric\fighter\mage and a theif (in multiplayer)
or playing an evil sorc with a real party

My dilemma exactly. I've eard so much about how fun and good korgan is, and I have slept with both aerie and jaheira, so I plan to take viccy, but if i take korgan I must drop aerie, and just look at my signature!

I plan to play good chaotic sorc. sorcs rock, especially hacked sorc.

All the spells I want, and my sorc an fully solo. but by all means, take a party! The npc interactions is what makes it fun.

sigh.

I think I break a long standing rule, never take anomen along, and see if korgan and viccy will smack him around. I want the extra chavalier npc. for holy avenger, of course.

Nahhhh....

take minsc, korgan, viccy, jaheira, imoen along, then drop minsc at beginning tob, and get aerie. Raise her to comprable stats by using clua console, and drop savarok?

Anyway, sorry. its these decisions that make SOA TOB so much fun!

why are there no theives in BG2? apart from yoshimo, they should have kept him. thats really stupid. he was the only good theif in the game. it wouldnt have been so bad if jaheria had been bad, i couldnt of cared less. but the only real theif in the game? i mean, come on.

ive decided to do a cleric, fighter, theif (multi, if you can) and a sorc. and maybe get drizzt. i downloaded a thing so he can join your party.

You can play aerie and Korgan together. That is what I always do. If Korgan starts insulting Aerie I put the Global Variable to 0.

The most powerful solo character IMHO is a sorc. You don't need to hack either. All the necessary spells can be chosen without hacking too.

I thought it was an affect since thats npc specific, and I wasn't sure if it was safe to change that!!

do you expect me to solo all on my lonesome? that'd be sooooo boooring

and hard. so, if i semi-solo with 3 or 4 characters, i get the best of both worlds.
and im gonna do a sorc(elf), a fighter\theif(half-orc) and a monk (human)
the fighter\theif will be really powerfull when he gets to later levels, can you imagine a fighter using wands? or the purifier (after its upgraded) wow, overkill

Stoner, if yu want a Thief, play one. There really is no need for one in the game. Simply to have a backstab seems a waste.

Imoen is more than caperble of filling the Thief role, and if you really need someone better (why??) then Jan does fine. Once Kev has his patch rigged up for ToB Imoen will be back top the level she should be (until then Shadow Keeper will do me fine).

If you're starting again, make sure you've got all those funky AI patches by BWScript! Poke around the Personal section, the Golem AI sounds worth getting simply to cut down on the cheese factor

instead of playing bounty hunter, get imoen-hacked into

assassin mage multi

poisoned melf minute meteors, poisoned black blade of disaster-gram the sword of grief, anyone? and poisoned enegry blades.

evil aerie-conjuror cleric multi, extra spells and missing school nicely covered by cleric spells...
"I'm so glad you brought me with you" after butchering some helpless peasants.

evil jahira-fighter totemic or shapeshifter druid
greater whirlwind with werewolf form...evil!
