Lost High-Level Abilities? No EXP cap in SoA

Post by Alf Alpha »

So I just finished playing through BG2:SoA with the experience cap removed. I have imported my old game and noticed that I now have a *lot* of experience to gain in order to make my next level.

What I am curious about are the high-level class abilities. Have I lost all the class abilities that my characters would have gained reaching their current levels if I had left the experience cap intact? For example, my monk is level 27. There are 6 high-level abilities that would normally be gained between levels 22 and 27. Are these lost forever?

Thanks.

more than likely. soa was nevr built fot the cap remover, you prob will get the abilities as normal from now on.

you could try reducing the xp level with shadowkeeper then boosting it back up, to get your abilities.

I would first try to see if the abilities won´t show up when you raise another lvl in TOB.

@ Foss: That idea would work not, as when a character levels up more whan one level, the same highlevel ability can be selected not!
So if the monk in question would have liked 6 greater whirlwinds, he will be disappointed, as only one may be selected.
