stolen book in saradush

Post by MadMarian »

Okay, that Lazarus guy said he suspects Hectan in the tavern. I talked to the guy and he denies. Then I read that I have to talk to a kid named Squip or something. But when I click on him he won't speak to me... what am I doing wrong????

You need to get Lazarus to mention something about muddy footprints, before you can ask Squip about the book. What kind of reponse are you getting from him?
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Yes, he mentioned the footprints. But I still cannot talk to him. If I click on him, the messages window says that he "seems to be occupied".

Does it have to do with my alignment? I am chaotic evil...

Have you install the ToB Patch? It solve a problem that stops you from talking to NPCs, which might be why you can't talk to him.
