Worked on the final battle for half an hour, with Ascension installed, constant pausing to make sure I know whats going on, and when I get Melissan down to Injured , with yaga and send still running around, she arbitrarily pops a finger of death that kills my main.

Needless to say I'm not touching the game for a while.

Oh dear...

Don't give up Merkidon. I am still trying to end my Ascension game so that I can get on with my life :)

You have to kill the minions(Yaga, Sendai etc.) first or she can never can be defeated.

Well here's the best part..when you cut off the first pool..you're *supposedly* immune to death magic =p

I had problems with Sendai --fighting for a long, long time. I finally killed her, which made me rather optimistic and cheerful about the future; but at that very moment the future appeared: Melissan bringing along some minions other than the well-known. And I hadn't touched Ilassera yet... :rolleyes:
