Problems Postdemogorgon

I never used the scroll of ritual before i hacked senor demogorgon into little pieces and when i try tot talk to the guy on top of the keep, he says nothing, don't tell me I have to run to a previous save and find the scroll and kill him all over again? Oh-well. By the way, what exactly are the negativities of death that a resurection couldn't handle?

the way i did it was
read ritual scroll.
escape by agreeing with demogorgon request.
talk to odren and trick him into investigating and then talk to spirit to get new scroll.
read scroll or kill demogorgon (or both if u read scroll right at doorway -is this a bug? -most xp this way i think)
