I am in TOB and thinking of getting rid of Aerie as Imoen does a fine job as a mage.
I am too lazy to open the game and actually bring Ameon over.
All i wanted to know is: Does he get a grand mastery in Flails in TOB, if so, then Minsc gets the two war hammers and A the flail of ages.
Thanks.

The unfortunate thing in ToB is that when you put someone new in your group from SoA the character stats are so sucky compared to the group you went through with SoA. The level you start them with ToB is so much lower than SoA's end. Once you've gone 3/4 through SoA you've basically committed your group to the way it is. I recommed keeping the group you've won with SoA.

Aerie has just about the biggest growth potential in ToB of all NPCs ('cause she's a multi). Maybe you should hang on to her; would be a shame to ditch her just when she was about to become very useful.

But, to further answer your question..., Yes, Anomen does get to become grand master of flails (or any other weapon of choice). He becomes a pretty kickin' character, if you can stand him that long, but you have to take him through SoA and help him become Sir Anomen for him to reach best potential as a cleric, IMO.

Whoa, thanks alot.
I guess i will stick with Aerie, but she is slow on her progession as a mage.
I kept her through SOA because i needed a cleric, and Anomen is too annoying. I just wanted another cleric and some guy who could use the flail, as i want to give hammers - Crom and Rune - to Minsc.
But i am not going to play through SOA all over again just for Anomen.
Thanks for the advice guys and gals - whoever is gal, you really can't tell with some of these nicks.
