Continuing Romance

Post by DrSlikk »

I don't know if this was covered, but if you start a romance in SOA and don't complete it, but import that game into TOB, can you complete the romance in TOB, or is it over.

It depends on how far into the romance you are; ToB needs the [name]RomanceActive global to be 2 in order for the romance to continue, this is set when the romance is in the advanced stage and again at it's completion.

Also if you import the game, then the romance will not continue; since only your character is imported, not the whole party. If you continue after finishing SoA, then the condition is as written above.

Yes, you can use the CLUAConsole to find out, type in: CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("nameRomanceActive","GLOBAL") and press ENTER - replace name with the name of your romance.

Oh, I didn't know that you can actually import the whole party. Yes the romance will continue if you import this way, as long as the global is at 2.
