Athkatla III(?)
Athkatla III(?)
Just out of curiosity, How many and who of all of us either lurking or frequenting this forum will be participating in the next little story we have?
Magus, unfortuneatly, has decided to step down from the reins of Narrating for this next one, and has suggested that Rail or I take up the call, so I will, hopefully with a bit of help from the great man himself. So, in order to start developing a decent plot, I'll need to know who is invovled. (Please no more than 6-8 people, otherwise it becomes to difficult to coordinatate)

Aegis, I'd be willing to join another story, though I'll come up with a different character for this one. Shall we do low or hi level characters? What does everyone think?

I must say, I'm interested in learning more about this, though interest in joining is unknown at this point.

Would be extremely difficult IMO - because the "DM-type-person" would need an extensive knowlegde of the land, lore etc to be able to write/think up a plot.Originally posted by Nippy:

I'd say we should keep it in FR, but maybe another part than Athkatla.

While I'd like an Argyle story very much, I don't think Aegis is yet planning on playing there. And since he is the main story developer here, let's pick another part of FR to play in. Aegis? ...

As much as I like the innput over the Argyle idea, I have to concur with what Rail said. As it is a world that has yet to manifest itself physically. Also, it does not yet have notably heroes wandering the fields, and valiant quests circulating it's "history". For this is story, I do want to get this away from Athkatla, just for a change of scenery. I was think maybe around Luskan, or Waterdeep, or even Icewind Dale.

I'm happy to do it anywhere really as I'd like to do this. I enjoy writing these type of things!

@all: Though I'm stepping down from DM, I'd still like to play a character or two.
It'd be nice if we got away from the major cities. How about a wilderness or frontier-type setting? Icewind Dale would be fine.

Lost Souls: A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?

Heres a sample of one of them:The sun struck his cloak, as he strode across the wind swept sand dunes, two-bladed sword in hand quickly he spun around and glanced into the raider's eyes, he ran, he faced the next "You dare!" He growled almost dog like, but the man stayed, he swung his sword, but it was countered he swung the left diverted the sword and with the other sliced the face, the man jumped back, not fast enough, he fell. The next one was hardly a teenager he faced the child sword and shield balanced on the twin blades "Run, run like the wind" the tone of the voice struck harder than an axe, still the sympathy twanged true. The boys outline was barely visible after only a minute, "And get a job" called the man jokingly after the fleeing child.
