XP cap remover problems

I'm soloing a sorceror, and i'm level 17 maxed out with experience, now i just down loaded the XP Cap Remover and extracted all 53 files into the override folder, i loaded my game and went to kill that lich that is in the crooked crane, i killed him and his pit fiend and i didn't get any experience? What's wrong? ? ?

Also If I remove the cap will it bring it back down for ToB?

Was this the only instance where you didn't get the XP?.
If yes, it is possible that the lich and the pit fiend killed each other. That happed to me once, the lich cast firestorm which caused the pit find to turn on him, the pit fiend killed the lich and was than killed by the firestorm, so no XP gain for me.

I think if you deinstall the cap remover your people will stop to level up, but I don't think it will level them down, though I might be wrong here.

No it said I gain 22,000 exp follow by gained 16,000 exp and yet I'm still at 2,950,000 exp, it is very agravating, i want to be able to cast Time Stop and Rule the WORLD AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Are you sure you installed it right, did you check if the files really are in the override folder?

Another thing is, my XP cap remover has only 27 files, not 53 and worked fine.

I would definitely think that you have downloaded/installed the wrong thing. There is only one file in the cap remover and it's XPCAP.2DA; it does go into Override. I'm not offering anything with 53 files in it (my FixPack has well over 200) so I don't know what you downloaded. What is its filename, and where did you get it?

This is what I did
-Downloaded the Program(was a .exe not a zip which suprised me)
-Opened the the Program and extracted 53 files in the override folder the same with the bonus merchant files and that worked
-Loaded my game killed the Lich and his Pet Pit fiend, it said...Gained 22,000 and the 16,000 and yet i got none,

Any tips, where did you get yours from maybe the site i got mine is $hitty

If you go into my link below (I finally got around to making a signature!) and then into the Tweaks & Cheats page, you'll see it. It's only one file to extract with WinZip and a ReadMe is included.

Also don't forget to download the lvl. 50 rules, since the remover will be not all that usefull without them.

IT WORKED OHG THANK YOU!!!! NOT ONLY DID I KILL SPIDERS AND GOT EXPERIENCE IREALIZED I GAVE ME BACK THE XPERIENCE I WOULD"VE GOTTEN FROM LICH AND I LEVELED UP!!!

Good point above: grab the Extended Spell Tables if you don't go all the way with the Level 50 rules as you'll at lest be able to earn a full spellbook as you progress...
