Modron Cube

Post by Hobo_Fighter »

I've bought the Modron Cube and already finished the maze. I went in the seige tower to try to create the entropic blade the the golem won't do anything with the cube. How do I create the weapon? Also, should I do this because I've heard the cube has future uses. Could someone also tell me what the cube does later on? Thanks.

The cube has only one other use: you can give it to the Pillar of Skulls in exchange for an answer.

That said, I never gave up the cube. Hey, you can wrack up a ton of cash and some useful magical items in that place! I just kept going back for some quiet killing. :)

You can't get the entropy blade until you leave Sigil (i.e. meet with Ravel) and then return to Sigil. At that point if you have the modron cube the siege tower golem will automatically ask you to exchange cube for the blade.

@fable, iirc Coaxmetal offers you the blade in exchange for the cube. Do you mean he gives you blade and you refuse to give him the cube?

As I recall, he didn't demand the cube when making the Blade of the Immortal--did you have a high INT and WIS? And as far as the Entropic Blade is concerned, all you need to do is agree to free him.

@fable, yeah you don't need the modron cube for the blade of the immortal but i thought you need to give Coaxmetal the modron cube to set him free at which point he gives you the entropy blade. Anyway i only got the entropy blade once (i found celestial fire was a superior weapon & didn't bother with the entropy blade in subsequent games) so my memory could be acting up :)

Celestial fire is amasingm the best weapon on the game (IMO) definately worth being good for :)
