Old Man Namless One

Post by Kayless »

I was looking at some of Torment's files via the Infinity Explorer and noticed something rather odd. In addition to a portrait of TNO with a bad hair day there was also one of him as a withered old man. I searched and found sprites to go along with this portrait. Does anyone know what this is all about? Was there a sequence in the game where the Nameless One actually shows his true age that was removed?
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Withered old man?
Maybe the Dustman disguise or perhaps even the zombie disguise?

Could also be that image he acquires when he's severely wounded.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

It's definitely not his 'wounded face' or his dustman disguise. It could be the zombie disquise (since I don't remember what that looks like). There are a couple other sprites you can find with the Infinity Explorer that are not in the game (Even BG, BG2, and Icewind Dale have some unused files).

That so?
Well, I'm definitely gonna check it out, then.

Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak
