Is there anyconnection between the worlds of BG and PlanescapeT???
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
Yes, there are lots of items in PS:T that are in BG2 (from the special merchant in the Adventurer's Mart)
The connection between the 2 (dnd wise) is that BG2 is in the Forgotten Realms, a world on the Prime Material Plane and that PS:T is located on several of the outer planes, one of the inner planes and the city of Sigil (which is hard to define location-wise). The Outer Planes are formed out of the beliefs of people on the Prime Material and are also the realms of gods, petitioners, proxies and the planar races (fiends, celestials, modrons, slaad and so forth). The Inner Planes are the Elemental Planes, the Para-Elemental Planes (formed where the Elemental PLanes mesh into one another), the Quasi-Elemental Planes (formed where the Elemental Planes mesh into the Energy Planes), the Energy Planes and the Plane of Shadows - these are the substance planes from which the Prime Material Plane was built. You get a pretty comprehensive description in the games (fairly early too). Just go to the Smoldering Corpse Bar and talk to the guy next to Ebb Creakknees (he's semi-transparent, but he's there).

You can never hope to grasp the source of our power. We are forever.
Interesting fact, a Cartoon called Spawn, originally written by Todd McFarlane and then made into anime, then buthchered on the silver screeen is connected to P:T.Originally posted by Stilgar:

What is the connection? The man who originally did the VO for Spawn the amine is the same guy who does the voice for Vhailor, and he is one of the coolest characters to ever appear in a game.....nothing sounds quite as cool as when he says, "I am Vhailor"
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
