What are the best wep profs.?

Post by Valorhan »

I want to know what to specialize in before I head down to the Catacombs. I have a couple of wep prof. points just sitting there and I don't know what to use them all.
Any suggestions?

Dunno what class you are but I'm a thief and found fist prociency is the best with Punch Daggers of Moorin.

Seems I've stopped gain proficiency points though...whats the deal with that? It's like they stopped after level 5 or so.

It depends on what class you want to play. For thieves and mages, it's a no-brainer: Fists for thieves and daggers for mages. For fighters, however, I recommend putting *'s into a crushing type weapon like clubs or hammers, and a piercing/slashing type weapon like axes or daggers.

@Skeelo: Leveling up in your fighter class and talking to certain NPC's will gain you proficiency points. I always level up NO to 6th level fighter to gain extra proficiency points.

You can find a really good hammer early on by getting yourself mazed.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Heh, thanks guys for your tips!
And oh yeah, I found the brimstone hammer before I went into the catacombs. I wonder why joining Aola's church pissed the lady off...
I'm a fighter and I am going for axe :)

Aoskar's was a rival of the Lady i think either that or he worshipped her, she likes to maintain a balance you see.
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Ok Sojourner, so if I go back to warrior class, at what levels do I get more prof points? Thieves don't get any?
