LoL, that's the way it was at the last UBB I was at. It took me 6 months to reach 1000 posts there. Though, IIRC, there was someone there who had over 10,000 posts within about 4-5 months.

I'm in a forum which have been up for very long time, nobody there has over 500 post (of course spammers are slapped silly but - still, combine that knowlegde with the 7K+ postnumber of some in here

There wasn't spam like there is here. There was the type of spam that is frowned upon. Heck, it'd be frowned upon here. Now the place has been overrun by l33t speak. I don't go there anymore.

I could understand that - thankfully people are more sensible here, than to spam pointlessly (most of the time - it happens).

It's not easy for everyone. I, myself, rarely have any trouble reading it, though I don't ever bother to write it. However, at the board I'm refering to, the board is pretty much split in half. Those who speak l33t and those who don't speak l33t, at least when I was last there, are a heckuva lot more against each other than COMMies and Spammers.

She's referring to the asjdjslkaj kind of spam, the one-word posts that constantly filled threads that merited discussion by a more mature audience, and of course the excessive swearing that is typical of the 7th grade populace.

Ash_300 or something like that, I forget, but yeah, he managed to rack up several thousand more over the last few months. Most of the regulars have left there. It is now a message board under control by middle school kids. something that will never make it.

Actually, I was referring to SilverClefairy(or something like that). S/he had more posts than anyone. This was during the first 4-5 months of TPM's existence. That was 1½-2 years ago.
