@Yshania, no problem. As for going out from an asthma attack, it still happens to about 100 people a year. I am really, really hoping that I'm not one of 'em when my time comes. The attacks that hit during sleep are among the worst.
I'd like it to be a clean, relatively quick death, whatever it is, that includes saying goodbye to those I care for, without having to be kept lingering in a horrible hospital environment.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
@Fable - I agree - a chance to say goodbye without too much lingering.
my three year old has just been diagnosed asthmatic (from excessive coughing through the night - no attack yet thank God!)...inevitable really when you consider I am the eldest of eight and five of us have asthma, two bad eczema and one hayfever, though all the asthma/hayfever cases were diagnosed as adults and the eczema as babies (!) and only one of us was free from all! lol!
My six year old had really bad eczema but it all stopped by the time he was two..weird. Just hoping my daughter may grow out of it...
Parachute for sale, like new! Never opened!
Guinness, black goes with everything.
@Yshania, if I may offer advice: don't simply hope. Take your kid to see a good allergist up on the latest drug therapies. Once it manifests, it never stops. Nowadays, you can sometimes stop it before it shows up.

The rest of us are morbid, and you don't need to answer it.

I personally don't care how i die.
As long as i have time to say good bye to my family and friends.
For those who want to know when they die, they can always check out the death watch.
Never tried it, and i don't believe it can tell exactly when you die.

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? - Khalil Gibran

Life is one big adventure, and death is the greatest kick of all, that's why they save it for last!
I want to go quietly in my sleep, like grandpa, not kicking and screaming like the passengers in his car.
Actually, I'm not going to die. I'm not important enough in this world for death to notice me
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.
