B.G. Trilogy????

Post by Doo--Rag »

Does anyone know if there are plans to do a B.G. III???

With the Cowled Wizzards sitting around a table at the end of the game saying "This child of Baal is becoming too powerful", I thought that the BGII ending left it wide open for another sequel.

It seems like Interplay/Black Isle have devoted a lot of time into Neverwinter Nights. I would be disapointed if they quit on the BG series but Neverwinter looks like it will be a cool game none the less.

Thoughts?

There are no plans to develop BGIII: ToB is the conclusion of the Child of Bhaal Saga. Also, there will be no mew games using the 2D Infinity Engine anymore (Neverwinter Nights will be using a brand new 3D engine :D )

There might be a BG3, but it will not use the Infinity Engine, nor use the Child of Bhaal story line.

The end movie of SoA was meant to depict the Bhaal Spawn that you face in ToB. At that time, they had not decided what race/sex they would be, so they are all generic humans.
