Order of the Dark Flame (Story, No Spam)
There was not much left to do in the shadow realm. Loners eyes had begun to heal and regrow but a lot of healing needed to take place. Her face was still tender with scar tissue.
Nippy approached Loner and Kramor.
"I have some herbs that will help the healing of the scars grow faster. Here grind them into a poultice Kramor and apply them to Loners face. I imagine that you would know whether Loners bodily scars have healed or not (
). If not just apply them to the wounded areas. It would help if we soon left. We must get her to a familiar environment. Her eyes may not take the shock immediately and she needs to be comfortable.
I bid you good day"
OOC: Hope this is OK!

Kramor made the poultice and treated Loner's scars, focusing his own healing power as he did so. Her new eyes were getting tired in the growing light of day, and she closed them.

Dagret and company, along with a small contingent from the Lullaby League, accompanied the group back to the Sapphire City, and took their leave. Manveru smiled when Thantor handed him the Staff, and promptly threw it into a cauldron blazing with blue flame.
"I'm glad you were able to succeed as swiftly as you did," Manveru said. "Once the Staff was in another's possession, the Warlock's power was reduced to that of a novice mage. Now his remaining thralls are free, and his power in this realm is broken."
"But where is he?" asked Kramor.
"You will meet again, I assure you. You already have, in fact, several times; though his appearance was changed in this place and you were prevented from recognizing him. You met him most recently under the guise of the impostor paladin Enoch."
"Look," said Loner, "all I want to do is go home."
"Ah yes, my dear, I'm glad to see your sight has been restored. Well, all you have to do is use the slippers. Put them on, click the heels together three times, and repeat aloud: 'There's no place like the Prime Material. There's no place like the Prime Material...'"
"You have to be kidding," said Loner.
Manveru laughed. "Not at all, my dear. Till next time..." he said, as he vanished.
Loner, feeling terribly silly, performed the ritual, and they all quickly found themselves back home.

…….Dragon Wench looked up relieved to see Loner, Kramo and Thantor safely returned. But then, at the rear of the party she saw a face. Dragon Wench blanched visibly (despite her tanned complexion) and her stomach churned. She gasped, “you were dead…when I was finally able to get you to help, it was too late.”
Then, blackness engulfed her.
Swirling, shapeless forms twisted around her, laughing harshly. Desperately, she launched arrow after arrow, to no avail. Even the emerald long sword did nothing. Two of the forms advanced on her, but before they could come close, Jerren stepped between Dragon Wench and the icy, writhing shadows. He fought like she had never seen him fight before, using magic that she thought had been lost with the ancients. He had succeed in vanquishing them all, when out of nowhere a woman clad entirely in black entered the clearing, screaming a blood-curdling cry, she plunged a glittering ebony sabre into Jerren's heart. Dragon Wench cried out," NO!!!!!" The woman paused, something briefly flickered in her eyes and then she was gone.
The blackness deepened, a maelstrom of shifting winds pulled at her, their vortex beginning to suck her down. She struggled, trying to hold them at bay, but she knew that she could not resist forever.

As Georgi and Darkpoet neared the camp, there was a blinding flash of light (hmmm, blinding... maybe some form of curative is needed...
). Georgi spurred the horse on, expecting the worst, but arrived unheeded, everyone's attention on their friends who had recently returned from the Shadow realm.

ooc, I have to attend to some things, so I thought that I'd better plop this down. If any of you want to insert anything else first, let me know and I'll delete it. I actually saved it into a document, so it wouldn't be a problem.
Gradually, the blackness began to dissipate, and the roaring winds subsided. Dragon Wench found herself on the ground with Thantor close by, and her friends gazing worriedly at her still form.
She knew that she needed to explain her past; she could not continue to bury it. But first, she drank the strange-tasting elixir that the healer was holding to her lips. Her head cleared, and cautiously she sat up.
The young man who had precipitated her collapse appeared perplexed, and she knew that she owed him something of an explanation.
“You look almost identical to somebody I lost ten years ago, his name was Jerren. When I saw you I thought you were an apparition.”
Then she turned to the others, and took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry, I haven’t been completely forthright with you all. I come from Ryu, a land of. vast deserts and jagged mountains, many of those mountains are volcanoes. Twelve years ago the Shadow Master and his minions besieged us, had it not been for our dragon allies my people would have been obliterated completely. Two years after the Shadow Master invaded our lands my lover, Jerren, and I were out scouting. It was a trap and we were ambushed by shadows. Their magic is very strong, I couldn’t defeat them no matter what I did, and I thought that they would kill me. But then, Jerren began to use the magic of the ancients against them –I never knew he was able to wield it, I thought that it was lost--, and he vanquished them. We thought we were safe, when suddenly a woman in black appeared, she ………”
Dragon Wench could feel the tightening in her throat, and the ache in her heart, but she did what she could to collect herself.
“The women, she had an ebony sabre…..she impaled him through the heart with it, I was never able to get him to help, he died in my arms minutes later.”
Dragon Wench wrestled down the tears that threatened to overwhelm her; she was a private person and hated to show emotion publicly.
” I vowed that I would find the woman in black and avenge his death. So began my search. Eventually I was able to track her down.”
Dragon Wench looked down.
“That was when I came to Trademeet. The woman I was searching was for was Jennabard. I knew that I could not take on all of you at once, so I thought that I would wait and try to get her alone. But I quickly realized that the woman I’d spent so long searching for was not exactly the one that I’d found. The Jennabard that killed Jerren was a puppet manipulated by the Shadow Master, and when I saw her again she seemed healed. I couldn’t kill her; instead she became my friend, you all became my friends.”
Dragon Wench bowed her head wearily, emotionally spent at having recounted her tale.
Then softly, she said, “I hope you’ll forgive me for not having told you all this sooner, I just couldn’t…….”

"How can I look like this 'Jerren'. I have no brothers... No it cannot be. I cannot have a brother. Can...Can you remember the day and year that Jerren died?"
"I... I cannot remember..."
"You must! I must know if I had a brother. If my father has caused suffering on another I shall rip his dark heart out with my bare hands and...and...and"
With the sudden relevation Nippy was overcome with shock. Could he have a brother. Who killed him?
"I shall remove their sorry presence from this Earth and I will destroy my 'father'."
Thantor came over.
"I am sorry for your loss..."
"Are you?! Are you really!? Do you have a lost brother who you never knew?! I... I am sorry venting my anger on you will not help. I must meditate. Excuse me"
Nippy sat and focused his energies. He must consult his master. Hitomi appeared before him above Kara-Tur. Nippy had astrally projected his image. He could see events from miles away but had to be in a deep trance.
"Master, Do I have a brother?"
"I see you have met Dragon Wench. Did I ever tell you why I tested you so much? No? Well I suppose now is the time to reveal. You are part of a grand scheme. The group you travel with, The Order of The Dark Flame, are a vital group in the future of the Earth. They are to destroy the shadow master and you are one of the five guardians. The other four, Kramor, Dark Poet, Thantor and Gwalchmai have slowly assembled to protect the Order. You must protect them!"
"But why me?"
"It does not matter why, what matters is that you must succeed"
"I... I agree master. I will accomplish this mission."
Coming out of his trance, he walked back into the group. He got down on his knees.
"I swear fealty to you, I shall follow you as guardian to the order and I promise to protect you with my life. The other four men. They are also the guardians. They are here to protect you. I shall reveal the story of this tale soon..."
OOC: Ooohh cryptic ending! If you want me to change anything just PM me.
