Vivien and Dragon Wench finally appeared to help. DW fired an arrow at Enoch, which struck him in the leg. Vivien cast Magic Resistance, then Defensive Harmony...

Georgi crept round behind Enoch, who was busy smirking at Loner, and swung flametongue at him.

Waverly was about to summon a second sword when a daggar hit him in the side. The wound was nothing, but he cursed as his spell fizzled.

He continued to wait for one of his enemy step too close and set off the blast.

Blocking flametonge with his Mythril sword bought Waverly enough time to set off his spell sequencer. 3 blasts of magic missles struck Georgi and forced her backwards.

Finally defeating Mordenkainen's Sword, Loner charged Enoch, and set off the fireball.

Dragon Wench keeps firing.

Too busy in melee to cast again, Waverly relys upon the simulcrum to maintain the magic attack while he fends off two ogres...

Meanwhile the simulcrum has gone undetected dispite it's attack and summons a cacofiend...

Loner was Near Death from that blast. "Gee, I think I've been reduced to one hit point," she thought miserably. But she summoned the last of her strength and charged the simulacrum, running it through and destroying it. Then Thantor appeared and cast Holy Smite on the cacofiend.

Cursing, Georgi attacked again with more vigour, not giving Enoch a chance to cast another spell. He dodged, but flametongue ripped into his arm.

Thantor healed Loner as best he could and cast Aid on her. Dragon Wench had begun using arrows of fire on the cacofiend, Loner, still seriously weakened, battled it with the Katana...

Unable to cast due to the onslaught, Waverly retreated while working his sword for defense. He willed the cacofiend to seek out Georgi, for he knew if he could just get free of the ogres, Loner would be easy prey.

The simulcrum finally had finally fallen under attack by GW, but it's sequence cast a series of fireballs at Viv...

Kramor struggle to get up, pulling out another dagger. He charges Waverly, blood going everywhere. Kramor tackles Waverly, they both hit a tree. Kramor sees blackness.

Georgi was startled as the bloodied Kramor charged at Enoch, (OOC you do still look like Enoch right?) but regained balance, to find the cacofiend looming over her. She effortlessly hacked it to pieces (

) and turned back. Enoch had disappeared.

Vivien casts Breach on Enoch, followed by Feeblemind. Dragon Wench turned her attention to Enoch and pelted him with arrows of ice. Thantor finally cast Protection from Evil on the party. Loner, barely hanging on and blinded by the blast of the fireball, felt the cacofiend move off. She stood still and focused her attention on finding Enoch...

As it were, it was time to cut losses. Waverly opened a portal and stepped through, not realizing the Kramor still had a hold of him...

Loner felt Enoch step through the portal and charged, but she was too late. He was gone. She screamed in rage...then weakened. It was as if something had been ripped away from her life force. The Katana wavered in her hand, fell flat on the ground, and Loner fell on top of it, as if dead.

A whole bunch of blow-flies are waiting around, just looking for an opportunity to lay eggs in any dead bodies that happen to be lying around after the fight. Most birds have been scared away, but a few vultures circle overhead. Elsewhere, children play and people laugh, unaware that the future of the world may hang in the balance....
