“Is there a doc in this town?” Ms T hurried over and tore a couple of strips from one of the dead outlaws shirts. “We need to stop the bleedin’” she said in response to DP’s look.”And stop that macho contest you two are havin’. The sheriff needs help! MEN!" she grumbled as she tried to stop the bleeding.

Loner reached out and caught Darkpoet's arm. "You know I couldn't stay out of it." She looked up at Kramor. "I will be all right, if I can get to a doctor..."

Gigi watched from the window, wondering if she should go and help. But deciding she would probably make the situation worse, she stayed where she was.

"You'll get to a doctor, then Dp's going to cover for you as sherif, until you get better. Right Dp?"

Kramor carries Loner to the doctor to get fixed up.

"Who me? Although come to think of it, that's not such a bad idea." Ms T's grin was evil. "It'd serve you right! I think that star would look just sooo good pinned to your shirt."

Darkpoet didn't like the grin, shaking his head. He grabbed Ms.T, and headed for the jail.

"Okay smart ass, you are under arrest, for littering."

Quickly taking her guns and pushed her towrads the jail.

"Don't get any smart ideas lady, or I'll have to shoot you."

Still watching, Gigi wondered who the woman was that DP was dragging towards the jail. She reached for her whisky bottle.

"DP I don't know what you're up to, but you'te gonna be sorry! You're arresting me for littering...I do see 3 rather large pieces of garbage on th eground that I know you were responsible for."

Darkpoet turned and shot the whiskey bottle out of Gigi's hand. He then pointed and curled his finger to come here to the jail.

Ms T was so furious she couldn't speak. She started trying to wriggle loose from DP's grasp.

"Damn!" Gigi yelled as the remaining whisky spilled all over the place, and she cut her hands on the broken glass. She rolled her eyes, and followed DP over to the jail.

Darkpoet had a hell of a time holding on to Ms. T. Keeping away from the feet, he was able to put her in a chair. When Gigi, came in he pointed to a chair for her to set in. Darkpoet handed Gigi, his bandana for her cut. Leaning agains t the desk, crossing his arms.

"Now ladies what's it going to be? T, you are sticking around, you are my new deputy. Gigi, you stop drinking, or I'll have you picking up cigar butts in the street. Famous or not. Am I clear?"

Ms T stopped fuming. "Your new deputy? Are you serious DP?" Then suddenly she smiled, very sweetly, a look DP knew only too well. "Why I'm flattered, but are you sure you trust me?"

Kramor walked into the jail, he saw Ms. T, Gigi, and Dp. He tossed the badge to DP.

"There you are Dp, your the sheriff. Loner's shoulder is bad, you might be Sheriff for six months."

"Thanks Kramor, I just hired my new deputy. Go take care of Loner, I'll be fine."

Loner sat in the doctor's office, thoroughly miserable. Her job was gone, at least for while. What would she do?...Go crazy from boredom, no doubt...

"I trust you better if I know where you are."

Looking at Gigi.
"Are you going to straighten up? Or should I just bring your things in here?" he asked her pointing to the cell.

Ms T shook her head. "Six months is a long time. She's gonna go crazy. You better find something to keep her occupied."
