I don't want to stray from the topic too much but, I played WCIII and it was good, IV was better, Prophecy was a little weak (Especially the geek they had for a main character Image ).

agree, besides there is no WC P II in the work, origin is only working on Ultima onlines now.
The BG series is a example that you dont need a Megacorporation like EA to make Great games.

Here's a late blonde joke. (How in the abyss did I miss this thread for so long???)

Why did the blonde woman's belly button hurt so much?

Blonde men aren't that smart either.

A blonde was walking down the street listening to a tape. A man bumped into her, and she droped the tape player. Suddenly the blonde dropped to the ground. The man wondered why she did that, so he put his ear to the head phones, and this is what he heard...

"Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out..."

What falls faster, a feather, or a blond?

A feather. The blonde has to stop and ask for directions

Well, thats all I can think of at the moment. It's still weird I didn't find this thread... Too many cookies I suppose...

Missed the blonde jokes. Still have not seen a new one in this entire thread. Here's one you may or may not have heard:

3 women are stranded on an island in the South Pacific after a shipwreck. After several days, the brunette finds a lamp washed up on shore and takes it to the others to have a look. The redhead brushes the sand from the surface, and low and behold a genie appears. He is unsure who should get the three wishes, so he decides to give each of them one.

Brunette: "I want to be shopping on Rodeo drive." Poof. She is gone.

Redhead: "I want to be sitting in the Russian Tea Room in NYC, sipping wine." Poof. She is gone.

Blonde: "I miss my friends already, I wish I could be with them." Poof. They are all back.

Hey, Vixen--they're saying you're Geordie here. If so, you might be able to help me out by answering a few questions I have. No personal stuff, I'm just doing a little research about the area you're from. If it's convenient, drop me an email: boru66@aol.com.

Given the choice of contacting Gruntboy or Vixen, I would have chosen Vixen as well. Sly dog Image

Whoa! I'm not trying to schmooze anybody here (shame on you) Image It's just that I missed that Gruntboy's familiar with that area, too. Gruntboy--if you see this, please drop me a line as well (again, if it's convenient). I just want to learn a few slang expressions and have a couple of questions answered (geographic stuff). I'd say just use the board here, but I don't want to post too much off-topic.

And now, for something that is a little more on topic. . .anybody go into the Kuo-toa dungeon in the Underdark? How'd you get the prince's blood? (Here's what I did and why I didn't like it)

I just turned Slayer in desperation and finally just pounded him. I'd dumped the rotten tadpoles into his little pond or whatever it was, but he kept regenerating and I could never manage to dump off the rest. Was I supposed to? How did you people approach this problem? I think I'll play that again--I don't care for the Slayer option too much, it's almost like a cheat (in my opinion).

And what's with the drow guarding the door nearby?

Later, people

HeHe, just having some fun with you. Image

The drow are guarding the exit to the underdark. From the sound of it, you are not ready to exit just yet, but you can kill them off now if you like. By all means, yes poison the tadpoles. As for your approach, what can I say? Take them on any way you like. If I remember correctly, I used summoned creatures and chain lightning.

EDIT do not ask those two to expand on their regional slang, unless you really want to hear it Image

Thanks, Waverly. . .I might go back and try your method. I'd used up a lot of spells just before I encountered the prince, from wading through all those Kuo-toans that were clogging the passageway--it was tremendous fun, though.

I don't mind being inundated with geordie slang. I can't wait to say, "Who got on your tits?" to the next woman who's cross with me!
