Nice going, @Eminem. But I think you'll find PoR a little lacking next to some of the other current CRPG offerings (BG2, Arcanum), and will be back sooner than you imagine. ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

you can definitely buy happiness.
if you were exceedingly wealthy, then you wouldn't have to work and could all the things that make you happy.

Doesn't it depend what makes you happy? Can't buy me love, as someone once sang... ;)

i disagree, with tons of money at your disposal, you would be free to spend time with the one you love, pursue a new love, whatever.
most couples fight over money...with that out of the way, you are free to enjoy life and eachother.

Well I disagree :D Having time and money doesn't help you find someone you love in the first place, though I agree it can remove some amount of stress from a relationship ;)

I personally don't think one can buy happiness, at least I know I can't.

Love, inner peace, a feeling of meaning to your existance, health...you can't buy any of this even if a lot of money will make things easier.

Imo, Money can buy happiness, but it can't buy joy. Happiness would be things like getting new stuff. Even having sex would be included in happiness by this statement. Love(and the other things CE and Georgi mentioned) would be classified under joy with this statement.

I do not believe that money buys happiness. That being said, however, if I were unhappy I'd rather have money than be without :D :D

Anyways, I agree with SS, money really can't buy true joy.
