Patrick Stewert is an awesome actor, the only problem he has been somehwat type-cast since ST:TNG. Shame...
I'll go to watch anything with Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery or Mel Gibson in it.
I think Jennifer Lopaz should stick to one career, and try to keep her clothes on.

I thought she became famous for acting before singing... but she may well have been known for singing in the States before she got to Britain...Originally posted by KidD01:

I find Nicolas Cage quite a conundrum. He's obviously a very talented actor. But he does have a habit of making bad movies. Even though he may be good in them...Originally posted by Aegis:

Unfortunately not, but I'd like to. I've seen Olivier's Hamlet (I have absolutely nothing to add to Fable's great description of that film), Sefirellis' with Mel Gibson and Branagh's. I've also seen a Russian Hamlet, I don't remember the name of the director, but it was someone famous. Branagh's is certainly the best Hamlet I've seen, but I agree with Jaker that it's not optimal - I have yet to see an optimal Hamlet. Perhaps I've read the play too many times to every see what I think is an optimal version.Originally posted by Georgi:
So I have to ask - has anyone seen the recent modern version of Hamlet with Ethan Hawke? I haven't seen it myself, so I'm interested to know, because he's not a bad actor
Regarding Jennifer Lopez: I think she started out as a soap actress before she started "singing". I have never seen her act, but it can't be worse than her singing (not to mention her dancing - some of my male friends change channel if they see her on MTV) so I hope she sticks to an acting career

Koznitsev, I think. I have his Lear, and I'm pretty certain I read that he also did Hamlet. One think I am sure about in the Soviet Hamlet is that the score was by Dmitri Shostakovich.
