3d acceleration problem

Post by Rhyfelwyr »

If I have the 3d off, I have no problems. If I try to enable any 3d, I get like 2 screens superimposed on eachother and flickering so badly that you can't see anything. Anyone know about this problem? I have the latest drivers for my Diamond stealth 540 extreame. Or should I just forgo the 3d effects. Is there a major visual effect difference?

I had the same problem and posted it at the official boards, no one replied.

That seems to point up a significant difference between Europeans and Americans. A European says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with me?" An American says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with him?"

I reckon that Stonehege was build by the contemporary equivalent of Microsoft, whereas Avebury was definitely an Apple circle.

I have also had this same problem and I can't find any way to fix it. I do have a cheap graphics card, though, and I think that is the problem for me. But for a stealth 540 I wouldn't know. But I don't think the 3d really does that much. It's nice to look at, but it's not going to change the game significantly enough to be worth all the trouble that you'll probably end up going through. Well, good luck. As for me, I'm getting a new graphics card soon. Hope that one works. Image

Cannot help. Only a bit of info. I have Riva TNT2 Ultra (Asus V3800 Ultra) with 32 MB. No problems with 3D. Nowhere. Not only in BG2.
