Here are a few movies which I didn't get part of them. If you figured it out, please post it here. Feel free to post your own.
1.The Godfather III: Who killed the pope? I didn't understand, in the last big sequence with the play and the simultanius murders, they showed the pope - who was on the Corlione's side - dead by poisoned tea. Who did it? they didn't say!
2.Dogma: They said that if Bartelby and Loki went into the church then their sins are forgiven, all they need to do is have their wings cut off, and be killed. Now Jay shot off Bartelby's wings, before he entered the church, so can't they just kill him there, now that he is mortal? his sins were not forgiven- so he would go to hell, end of story!
3- Godfather 2,3: Where did don Altobello(Part 3) and Pentangali (part 2) come from? are they metioned at all in the previous movies (I mean parts 1/2)

1. Never saw the third one
2. Good question, although I believe murder, for some reason would have absolved his sins or something along those lines. It's been a while since I've seen that one but I believe there is a reason. I thought the same thing you did.
3. Altobello - again, didn't see part III
Frank 'five angels' Pantangali was a soldier for the good don, God rest his soul, back in the first Godfather. when Michael made the move to nevada, Fat Clemenza got to start his own famille and was exonerated of any duites, asides loyalty, to the Corleone's. Tessio, well, he died. So Pantangali wound up taking over for the Corleone family in New York. He still answered to Michael but was responsible for maintaining family power in New York for Michael. This relationship helps explain Frank's confusion regarding the Rizotto brothers when he comes out to nevada to clear things up with michael. If Frank is in New York to maintain Corleone power, why is Michael asking frank to lay down to those rizotto punks. Does any of this make sense. I'd be happy to elaborate further. However, Mario Puzo does a much better job than I. Read the godfather, it's fantastic.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
I thought Chasing Amy was really good, i also enjoyed Mall Rats and Clerks, i wouldn't call myself a fan of his work but i do enjoy some of his skewed ideasOriginally posted by Morlock:
Are there any other Kevin Smith fans in these boards?
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
I thought that Clercks was very weak.
Mallrats was realy good.
Chasing amy was weak wxcept for the Jay and silent Bob scene.
Dogma was great. (Especialy Allen Rickman)
Jay and Silent Bob was very funy, but bordered too much on the line between stupid comedy and intelligent stupidity. Although all the cameos were great.

Definately
I think Chasing Amy was probably the closest thing Kevin Smith has done to a normal film that actually has a conserted and consistent story, it is definately he most mainstream of his films
I wasn't that impressed with Dogma although Alan Rickman was great as was Chris Rock
I menat to watch it but the local cinema only showed it for one night

I just thought of this one:
In the phantom menace, why does the emperer (in the form of plpatine) seem happy, even glad about the victory of Naboo, or is this just him acting the part of Palpatine?
And also how does he tie in to the rest of the movies, I mean how does he use his power as supreme chansler (sp) to his advantage, and when is he found out?

2. Funny you should ask that, as it happens I was just chatting to George Lucas, and he says... you're going to have to hand over your hard-earned cash in order to see Episodes 2 and 3 to find out

1. Thats what I assumed, but he must've thought he wasn't going to succeed, or else why woudl he put his alter ego (Palpatine) in the stratigic position of supreme chansler.
2. My senses aren't so keen now a days, but is that sarcasm I hear?
I meant that I know that the basics of the 6 movies are known, and was wondering if anyone had knows a bit more of the plot line.
